A BRIGHT NEW DAY

    Everyday we wake up in bed, is a  new opportunity. We may have brought some old stuff through the night as we tossed and turned, However, in all reality, the day is new because the rays of the new day's sun bathe everything in a new perspective which demands a new reality. Above all, the mercies of the Lord are new every morning. ( Lamentations 3:23)
    In my book A BRIGHT NEW DAY,  I explore this paradigm to great lengths. We all need to see each day as a fresh opportunity, full of potential. Then, we have a chance to use the building blocks we have we have been given by a gracious God, to a greater advantage and a successful outcome.

So, how do we plan to use this insight?

FIRST
    Go to bed with expectation. Tomorrow is going to present a fresh start. A better approach and a wiser choice. The mistakes, the misteps, the misunderstandings of today were meant to clarify certain issues and lead us into the paths of righteousness. They are not meant to be repeated, and even if we repeat them, we should by now, have a sensitivity to identify the error quicker than before! In other words, we have learnt to realize quicker, what it would have taken us longer before today. So, always expect a fresh start tomorrow.
SECOND
    Value your experience. It is not taught in any other school except the school of the world. Its classrooms are everywhere you have people, and teachers come in all ethnicities. Most of the resources that you expend in this school of lifelong learning, are replenishable. All except time. Time is transient and precious. Made precious by experience, because experience can never be repeated but built on. The good news is that if you learn well, operate in love,prayer and expectancy, Almighty God (the only one who is able) could restore lost time, by giving you new opportunitieswhich will abundantly magnify the learnings form your experience.
So, as you value your experience, be loving (Godly love) to all mankind, and be faithfully expectant by going to God in prayer. It is not by might but by the Spirit of Almighty God, that we are victorious. Ask Him to teach you the way to go, as you sleep.
THIRD
Wake up in the morning with thanksgiving & praise, for the gift of a fresh life, fresh opportunities, and marvelous favor. Ask The Lord to bless you, and enlarge your territory. Ask for favor, and that you be granted the consciousness of a child seeking out the favor of God with humilty. Let this mind be in you which was in Christ Jesus (Philippians 2:5). Faithful and obedient to your calling of life on this Bright New Day, you are fearfully and wonderfully made for purpose. Remember, you are blessed for the purpose of reproducing the gift of blessing in others. 

It is A Bright New Day. Amen

Adieu 2014

        As the year 2014 quietly faded into the celestial archive to which all years eventually go, I became conscious of the presence of God. I have progressively, by His grace grown in sensing His presence over the years. By His Spirit, God makes His presence felt.                    The writers of the Books of the Holy Bible, inspired by this same presence, gave us so much insight into how the presence may be sought. I spent the last few days of 2014, seeking the face of God even more intensely. Why do this ? Knowing that 2014 was going to fade into memory, without a residue. It was necessary to ride the transition on a more concrete assurance of the presence of God, than on a fading memory. The Holy Spirit was my comfort through the fast fading year, and He will still be the lifter of my head in 2015!           In the Book of Romans, this same Spirit of God, moved Paul to write in verses 27 & 28 of Chapter 8:              "And He that searcheth the hearts knoweth w
